Lackey is the Founder and inspiration behind HEART OF THE HOME STYLING & DESIGNS, a North Dallas-based independent design boutique for kitchens and baths, remodels, and lifestyle-driven residential interiors and Airbnb’s. With over 20 years experience spanning design, installations, and real estate management, Kathryn brings a unique blend of creativity to each project focused on functionality, value, and equitable goals.

After her beginnings in the corporate advertising space, life transitions unveiled her true calling — helping homeowners reimagine everyday spaces to live, to sell, or to profit. Today, she partners with homeowners, realtors, and investors across North Dallas to transform primary heart of the home spaces into lifestyle-driven interiors. With a passion for design that begins with the kitchen, Kathryn crafts a design experience that builds client confidence and ease alongside her installation team and select vendors. Together, they make visions become reality in a space proudly called HOME.
