CONSULTATION

Following an initial Discovery Call, each client’s project begins with an In-Home Consultation. During this initial meeting, we will review your current space, your likes & dislikes plus any unique requirements, and define the scope of the project alongside fundamental budgets and timelines.

DESIGN PLANS

As your new design partner, we then customize options to match your goals, style, and budget. Our next virtual visit will review computer renderings of your space allowing you to envision the end in mind. Upon final revisions and contracts, we’ll select & procure materials with quality vendors, and obtain installation quotes to get your project moving forward.

  • The cost to remodel a kitchen or master bathroom is relative not only to the size of the space but also the level of materials selected and any changes to the footprint of the space. Generally, the labor for demo and install will eat roughly 1/3 of the remodel budget. We employ a thorough qualification of your project to provide you a realistic breakdown of your remodel budget based on your customized goals and expectations.

  • Not everyone has a design eye, but some do, and we enjoy working with both types. The benefit? A professional designer manages a project from concept to completion using relationships with tried and true vendors and installers to complete your project in a timely manner on budget. They have specialized knowledge of space and architectural planning and access to materials and pricings available exclusively to the trade. A professional designer is a major asset to the investment in your home’s aesthetic, functionality, and overall satisfaction over many years.

  • Our fee process is extremely transparent. During our in-home consultation, we explain our processes and walk you through every detail of the scope of work and design fees. We adopt a hybrid fee for design services based on the desired package that suits your needs. Pricing is based on our flat design fees for specified projects. Additional margin is added to product sales, and we handle the full order and delivery process for you.

  • A licensed interior designer is trained with specialized education in architecture and building codes as required by the NCIDQ state board. By contrast, a certified kitchen designer accreditation only in kitchens and/or baths. They are optionally certified by the NKBA with specialized education in kitchens and baths. While professional certification is a benefit, it is not a state requirement, and many kitchen and bath designers with mass experience and knowledge can create beautiful outcomes for your project with appropriate state business licensing and liability insurance.

  • As part of your design journey, we assist you with product options for your project. However, DIY selections often dilute our design effectiveness on a full scope project. We prefer to avoid incompatible or incomplete selections to ease your overall design journey as you trust us to assist you with those purchases.

  • Absolutely! We offer full installations with project managers equipped with the knowledge of your goals. You can employ them independently following your design process, or continue working with your designer to ensure a perfect design outcome
